Using New School to Go Old School

Hats off to Ikea for a brilliant marketing ad with the "bookbook." The Swedish company decided to both acknowledge and poke fun at the modern obsession with technology, specifically at Apple through use of a white background tactic similar to that of the tech giant, according to Erik Kain, contributor for Forbes.com. Dog-eared pages as bookmarks, actual sharing, and password protection are satirically addressed as well.

Well-played, Ikea. Well-played.
